i ship production ai. prototype, evals, integrations, on-call wiring: one engineer, end to end.
6+ yrs shipping production software
3 yrs ai-first native applications
end-to-end schema, model, frontend, deploy

a studio of one, built around the work most teams hand off three times.

schema, model, ui, deploy: one engineer owning every layer, so a prototype that works in a notebook still works the day a real user presses the button.

four things, done well.

ai-native applications

rag, document understanding, agents. production code with the retrieval, evals and guardrails wired in from day one.

the kind of build that survives launch week without 3am pages.

[ 02 ]

production backend

spring boot, go, real-time pipelines, oauth and sso. the third-party integrations clients always discover halfway through.

the build that passes a security review, not just a demo.

schema to deploy, one engineer. no handoffs, no seams, no waiting on someone else's branch.

one engineer owning schema to deploy, so the deadline is real.

The Person Behind the Studio.

Shuhaib is a senior software engineer in Colombo, Sri Lanka. Currently building Sysco Labs’ internal agentic orchestration platform with Frontwalker: the layer that powers multi-agent AI across the enterprise.

Six years writing production code. Most of it on Planyear’s US benefits stack at Altrium: OAuth and SSO flows, the Outlook add-in that shipped to Microsoft AppSource in four weeks, the AI-assistant UI wired over WebSocket to a live model.

The studio is where the build work lives. Solo engagements, one at a time. Usually a prototype that has to survive contact with a real user before anyone else commits to it.

EXPERIENCE
2026 — Present · Frontwalker · deployed @ Sysco Labs
Senior Software Engineer · AI

Building Sysco's internal agentic orchestration framework: the platform that powers multi-agent AI systems across the enterprise. Agentic workflows, software design, system-level shape.

2025 — 2026 · Altrium · Planyear (US Benefits)
Senior Software Engineer · Team Lead

Led a scrum team end-to-end across design, architecture, and ship. Drove the Outlook (Desktop & Web) add-in to Microsoft AppSource in four weeks. Mentorship on the hot paths, sprint discipline, predictable delivery.

Software Engineer

Digital Benefit Guide: OAuth, SSO, cookie-based auth, and performance work on a large-scale app. Planyear AI-Assistant: complex UI and WebSocket-based real-time communication with the assistant backend.

SKILLS
AI-Native Product

RAG with hybrid retrieval, document understanding, agentic workflows. With the evals and guardrails that keep them alive after launch week.

#01
Production Backend

Spring Boot, Go, real-time pipelines, OAuth and SSO. The plumbing that has to work at 3am.

#02
Full-Stack Builds

Schema, model, frontend, backend, infra, deploy. One engineer owning every layer end to end.

#03
Technical Leadership

Architecture review, scope-cutting, code review on the hot paths. The senior call when there's only one shot at it.

#04
AI Tooling

OpenAI, Anthropic, RAG, evals, observability for LLM systems. Eval harnesses that catch drift before customers do.

#05
Infrastructure

AWS, GCP, Vercel, Postgres, Mongo, Docker, CI/CD. The boring layer every AI feature eventually leans on.

#06
Motion & Interaction

GSAP, canvas, scroll-driven prototypes. Interfaces that feel inevitable.

how the work gets shipped.

started on the backend: spring boot services for fintech. moved into ai feature work the moment the field stopped being demo-grade. the studio now sits where most teams hand off three times: schema, model, ui, deploy. one engineer, one engagement, no waiting room.

three commitments.

[ 01 ]

scope is locked before code

a written brief names the outcome, the surface area, and what is explicitly out of scope. no scope creep without renegotiation.

[ 02 ]

progress is visible weekly

friday demo, monday changelog. you never have to ask where the work stands.

[ 03 ]

handoff is engineered

runbooks, docs, transition session. your team owns what i built the day the engagement ends.

get a range in 90 seconds.

three picks, a short description, contact line. you get a fixed range on the spot, not a callback, not a discovery call.
